>I’m at the BlogWorld & New Media Expo in Las Vegas this week. One of the big questions here at the Expo will be “Who should be blogging?”
Most of the people here at the Expo will say “everyone!” But they are already blogging and predisposed to do so. But my question is “should small businesses be blogging?” That’s one of the main things I want to answer this week.
I seem to be recommending blogging to my clients more and more these days. If you are a brick and mortar small business, you are probably wondering if you should be blogging. Especially if you like to read blogs.
It’s not a requirement for small businesses to blog, even if you have a website. I do recommend it if you sell a product or service that requires some thought by your customer prior to purchase. Blogging on your website can help establish your credibility with customers. It can also make you a resource of valuable information giving your business greater value than your competitors.
But it’s not as simple as that. Blogging for your small business needs to be done correctly. We’ll talk more about that as the week progresses.
If you are a small business owner and you blog, share your experience and your blog with us.
