Most cities have that one brand that sticks out like a shining beacon. It’s a brand that’s representative of the town. In small to mid-size cities that brand is often a restaurant. A place that locals like to take friends when they come to town. In Waco, Texas that restaurant is George’s.

But how did George’s rise to the top of the branding heap? Achieving brand superiority takes focus. George’s became “Waco’s restuarant” by using focus. We interviewed George’s owner Sammy Citrano and got deep inside his branding secret.
